Delete your OPERO account

This page explains how to request deletion of an OPERO account. It applies to the OPERO app for iOS and Android and to OPERO on the web.

App: OPERO
Developer: OPERO (Ofski, MB)

Accounts are created on the web

OPERO accounts are created on the web. The mobile app does not create accounts itself: its Create account button opens the sign-up page on the web. The app works with that web account and shows the data of the account and its Workspaces.

How to request deletion

On the web

  1. Sign in to your OPERO Workspace in a browser.
  2. Go to Settings → My account.
  3. Press Delete my account.
  4. Open the confirmation link we send to your email. The link works once, for 24 hours.

If you own an OPERO Account, transfer the ownership in Team first. Then you can delete your account.

By email

Write to support@opero.events from the email address of your account and ask us to delete it.

What is deleted and what is kept

  • Account data: kept while your account exists, and up to 60 days after it is closed.
  • Workspace data: belongs to the organisation that owns the Workspace and is handled under its agreement with OPERO, so deleting your own account does not delete it. Trial Workspaces are deleted 30 days after the trial ends. Cancelled Workspaces are deleted 30 days after the subscription ends. Workspaces locked for non-payment are deleted 60 days after locking.
  • Backups: deleted data may remain in encrypted backups until those backups expire. Active Workspaces may have yearly backup copies kept for up to 10 years. Backups of deleted Workspaces are removed within about 12 months.
  • Billing and accounting records: kept for 10 years, as required by Lithuanian law.
  • Security logs: kept for up to 14 days, unless needed longer to investigate an incident.

More detail is in our privacy policy, in the section How long we keep it.
